As a seasoned manufacturing and operational professional, Nishad offers an extensive expertise in various domains, including clean technology, e-commerce, transactional lean and Internet of Things (IoT). He is currently an executive at Xylem, a $5 billion worldwide water technology company helping to drive clean and efficient water across 120+ million end-user customers. He has successfully launched and mentored multiple e-commerce businesses in the consumer electronics space. He is also an active and passionate early-stage investor that founded Kellogg Angels, an angel investment community promoting early-stage investment and mentorship to startups born from Northwestern University. Nishad is also an advisor & Investment Committee member for Purple Arch Venture Fund.

Victor Thorne brings a background of both investment and operating management experience, spanning Fortune 500 corporations to entrepreneurial ventures. He has been directly involved in dozens of seed and venture equity investments and exits totaling over $500 million. He is Co-Founder and Partner of Broadline Capital, a global investment management firm. In 2008, Broadline Capital received the industry award for Asia Venture Deal of the Year, named by Private Equity International (PEI) for the firm’s investment in China Rapid Finance (NYSE: XRF), mainland China’s largest mobile based consumer lending marketplace based on number of loans issued, serving online users and China’s EMMA’s (Emerging Middle-class, Mobile Active) consumers.
In 2000 Victor co-founded the leading provider of supply chain management and intelligence solutions to the trillion-dollar food system. Creating the industry’s first SaaS electronic supply network, the company became an innovator in the automation of core business processes. In 2007, the resulting company was sold to Accel-KKR and Abry Partners.
Victor began his career at Morgan Stanley and has consulted for Lucent Technologies’ Supply Chain Networks before returning to Columbus in 2010 to serve at Rev1 Ventures (fka TechColumbus) as the managing director of the Ohio TechAngel Funds, the largest angel investment network in North America, and then joined the Columbus Partnership as managing director of strategic initiatives at Columbus 2020. Victor is currently launching several new high growth companies ranging from sensor analytics software to a supply chain agribusiness.
He received his AB in biological anthropology from Harvard College and received his MBA from the JL Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He also participated in Harvard Business School’s Executive Program on Supply Chain Management. He serves as a member of the Boards of Directors of several high growth venture backed technology companies in Ohio, and is the president of the Board of Trustees of the Columbus Academy, the largest independent K-12 day school in Ohio. While in Chicago from 2000-2010 he served on the Executive Board of the Chicago-based non-profit Jobs For Youth and as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center.
Victor has traveled to 34 countries in 5 continents and has participated in archaeology research projects in Kenya, led a global marketing project for global vineyards and wineries in Chile and Argentina, scuba-dived in Barbados and climbed the Great Wall of China. Victor and his wife, Bridget, reside in New Albany, Ohio with their 9 year old daughter and 5 year old son.

Anish Shah manages LOUD Equities’ private placement investments and is responsible for the strategic governance of the fund, specializing in the real estate investments across the hospitality, medical facilities, office, retail, mixed-use buildings, multi family buildings, shopping centers, land development, and manufacturing facilities throughout the United States. He has more than 31 years of experience in the hospitality industry and commercial real estate space including purchase, sale, development, financing, and operations.
As the founder of The Buckeye Group, Billy Goldberg advises companies on developing new business and creating revenue streams through meaningful strategic partnerships. Billy also serves as the Managing Director, Sports and Entertainment at Link Strategy Group where he recently completed a deal bringing Strike Spirits to market and now works with the Underline a $150 million public-private partnership in Miami. A results-driven advisor, he brings imagination and drive, envisioning and delivering relationships that spark growth and create enduring value. Billy’s hallmark is identifying a company’s “white space”– the unrealized areas of opportunity and growth – connecting the right partners and creating the optimal conditions for conversation. At The Buckeye Group he has generated more than $50 million in new revenue for clients such as The Miss America Organization and DirecTV. He currently works with the
portfolio companies of LOUD Capital, a Venture Capital fund in Ohio, in which he serves as an advisor.
Prior to forming The Buckeye Group, Billy ran the West Coast office of HighSchoolSports.net and later at USAToday.com after Gannet’s
acquisition, securing new business with clients such as Nike, Gatorade, Universal Pictures and The US Army National Guard that resulted in revenue growth of 400%. At the Tennis Channel, Billy delivered clients such as Lexus, Land Rover and Paramount Pictures and managed existing agency and client relationships with Acura, Franklin Templeton and eHarmony. Billy was Vice President at Bank of America managing $200mm worth of assets and was consistently a President’s Club member. As an agent at The William Morris Agency, Billy represented writers as well as production companies, and staffed iconic television shows like Friends and South Park.
Billy is a board member of Urban Fitness 911, served as Co-chairman of Melissa’s House, occasionally writes for the Huffington Post, has performed stand up at the Improv in Hollywood, is an angel investor and speaks at colleges about success and leadership.
Billy studied international business at Florida State University in London and received his bachelor of science in business administration from The Ohio State University. Billy is an avid cyclist, basketball player, and a man on a quest to see every NCAA FBS football team play before he turns 65. Billy lives with his family in Southern California.
Lindsay Karas Stencel
Lindsay is a Partner and Chief Legal Counsel for a VC firm in Columbus, OH, where she has worked for greater than a decade. She also runs her own law firm, Lindsay Karas Stencel Law LLC, a firm that focuses on working with small businesses to properly set up their corporate documentation and structure, strategically design their funding paths, and serves as their outside general counsel on various matters. Additionally, Lindsay works with an a non-profit venture development organization, LaunchNY, to assist seed stage companies in Upstate NY in acquiring financing and preparing them for fast-paced growth. She is passionate about coaching entrepreneurs through the initial funding processes and vetting their businesses to determine their viability and growth potential. Lindsay is a guest lecturer for the Ohio State Bar Association for start up organization and financing, and a guest presenter at various OSU law school business courses.
Lindsay attended The Ohio State University where she earned her JD and MBA through their dual degree program. There she served as Student Body President to the Fisher Graduate Student Association. Prior to OSU, Lindsay attended Canisius College where she also served as Student Body President and two-time captain and two-time Defensive Player of the Year of the Division I Women’s Lacrosse Team.
In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys exercising at her CrossFit gyms (CrossFit Westerville and Rust Belt CrossFit) and spending time with her husband, Chris, and dogs, Ogie, Pearl and Matilda.
